Ulreich (4.5m, Goalkeeper) – 3/10
- It looks like Neuer is still in the rehabilitation phase from the injury and he will not start MD1
- So until Neuer is confirmed to be back, Ulreich will play for Bayern
Upamecano (5.0m, Defender) – 6.5/10
- Cheap route into Bayern’s defence
- Last season Bayern kept 5 clean sheets in 6 games in the group stage
- Historically, Upamecano was good at balls recovered (2022/23: 4.4 balls recovered per game, 2021/22: 6.27, 2020/21: 10.2) – but last season was his worst in this area
- Also, Kim is priced at 5.0m as well, another budget enabler among Bayern’s defenders, but there is a minutes threat from Matthijs de Ligt

- Very decent and reliable in balls recovered (5.67 per match in the last season)
- Does not matter which position he plays, he seems to always support Bayern’s attack
- 2 assists this season in Bundesliga
Sané (9m, Midfielder) – 8/10
- back to his best at Bayern
- Sané can be absolute beast in the Champions League
- Proven UCL Fantasy asset
- 3 goals in 4 matches in Bundesliga this season
- Tough fixture on paper in Matchday 1 against Manchester United, but the Red Devils have been very poor defensively this season in Premier League, and we expect Bayern to score against them
